Biography
After completing his French baccalaureate at the Institute Saint-Geneviève high school in Paris, Mikel proceeded to study Physics at Pierre et Marie Curie and then film and production at Ecole Supérieur de Réalisation Audiovisuelle before moving to Los Angeles in 2012. There, he started his career in entertainment as a production assistant for the Showtime drama Series Dexter and The Affair.
After a few years with Showtime, Mikel had a small modeling career and traveled in the United States, Asia and Europe. After modeling, Mikel discovered acting and was trained by Leila Vatan, Alex Craig Mann, Jeremy Radin, Robert Rusler Tania Gonzalez, Michael Yavnieli and later on, Art Cohan, Mia Christou, Robert Zimmerman, Peter Allas and Christine Kludjia.
In 2017, Mikel moved back to Europe and spent a year in Germany where he wrote the short film Their Path, a story told through dance with no dialogues. He was helped by a pool of writers, producers and directors at La Maison du Film, in Paris. His script was finalist of La Maison du Film - Label Scenario.
In 2018, Mikel moved back to Paris to work with the production company Quad Drama as an Executive Assistant for Iris Bucher.
In 2021, Mikel decided to move back to Los Angeles to pursue acting. Two years later, Mikel makes his acting debut with The Valley Playhouse, interpreting Stephen Carter in the Agatha Christie’s short story Yellow Iris, adapted and directed by Jon Berry.
